London Hosts Coalition Meeting on ISIS

Foreign ministers from twenty-one countries on Thursday, met in London to discuss ways to work together to fight the terrorist Jihadist group, Islamic State.

The group holds and controls large areas of Syria and Iraq. The United States-led coalition has been carrying out air strikes against the group since August last year.

At the start of the conference held at the Lancaster House, US Secretary of State, John Kerry, told reporters that more needs to be done to fight the IS.

“The purpose of coming here is to bring everybody’s best advice, everybody’s thoughts about where there may be weaknesses, everybody’s thoughts about things we can do better, and lay down the strategy for the days ahead,” he said.
