The 17th edition of the Holy Ghost Congress of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, RCCG, has kicked off at the Redemption Camp, Kilometer 46, Lagos-Ibadan Expressway.
Titled, The Great Shepherd, the opening ceremony of the 6-day programme was attended by hundreds of worshippers drawn from diverse Christian denominations from within and outside Nigeria.
In his opening address, Enoch Adeboye, the General Overseer of the RCCG urged the congregation to thank God for His faithfulness and prayed that the Congress would be a life-changing experience that would usher in great miracles for them.
“It gives me great joy to see many of you on the first day of the 17th Holy Ghost Congress. I guarantee you that it would be a life-changing experience that will be full of great miracles,” Adeboye said.
The annual Holy Ghost Congress is scheduled to hold between December 8th and 13th 2014.
