On Saturday 22nd and Sunday 23rd of June 2019, the street of downtown in Toronto Canada was crowded for the Toronto annual Pride Parade festival. The parade that took place during that weekend has wrapped up for another year.
According to the urbanities in Toronto, the Pride Parade is one of the largest in North America with an estimated crowd of one million people. Its activities normally take place once in a year in downtown Toronto city of Canada through as across major cities like Amsterdam, Cologne, Berlin, London, Madrid and Barcelona and were climaxed by the parade.
The pride Toronto is Not-for-profit organization that supports the queer communities of the city and beyond, they work to ensure equal rights and representation for every person to diverse sexual and gender identities, the annual pride Toronto festival is a central rally pointed to inviting community people coming together to celebrate what they have accomplished and to pursue what still needs to be done, through this programming, outreach and undeniable presence, they let people know that they are not alone. They create a space for both the current and next generation to express who they truly are.
Celebrating 50 years of global marches, thousands of people marched tall and proud in one of the largest pride parades in North-America with over 200 groups joining together for the event.
It is normally celebrated in festival way where group of people come together, crowds fill the streets chanting the songs of victory over the oppression of the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer (LGBTQ) communities.
The political eminent personnel like the Prime-Minister, Justin Trudeau, the Toronto Mayor, John Tory alongside the Minister of foreign Affairs, Chrystia Freeland also participated in the pride parade celebration, marching through Bloor/Church Street in downtown Toronto Canada and were also made headlines when they took part in the march on Saturday and Sunday 22nd and 23rd of June 2019 in the 39th annual pride parade.
This year’s festivities concluded with the epic capstone parade which featured amazing colourful marches, music costumes and plenty of fun.
Just after a week, Nigerians have left in shock by the news coming from pride parade rally, a numbers of pictures and videos were shared among the social media especially Facebook and Twitter, some substantial number of Nigerian faces who has been alleged, announced and declared missing for involving in bisexual activities during their stay in Nigeria were also spotted in the midst of crowds of people during the pride parade celebration in downtown city of Toronto Canada on the 22nd and 23rd of June 2019. Some of them even took pictures with friends, Toronto citizenry and many others which were later posted on the social media that threw their friends and family in Nigeria into a frenzy because Nigeria is a very homophobic country.

Making decriminalization of homosexuality in the world, re-committing the community to a better and safer future for all LGBTQ people.
