Lagos Teachers to Face Competency Test

The Lagos State government has said that it is set to conduct assessment tests for teachers in public primary and secondary schools in the state.

Announcing the decision, Olayinka Oladunjoye, Lagos State Commissioner for Education said the test was meant to verify and ascertain the competence of the teachers.

Oladunjoye said the assessment would be conducted within the state’s teachers’ competency framework, TCF.

She explained that the objective is to ensure that teachers in Lagos State are well prepared and competent to deliver good performance.
