The Nigeria Police has debunked reports on social media that Ibadan was on fire, claiming that a number of people have been killed thud heightening tension in the city. In fact, even Seyi Makinde, the governor-elect in Oyo State has denied the claim that his personal assistant had been killed in the presumed mayhem.
