After confirming their place in the FIFA Under 20 World Cup following a seven point gross during the group stage, the Flying Eagles of Nigeria must now face their perennial rivals, Ghana, in the semi final stage of the 2015 African Youth Championship holding in Senegal on Wednesday.
The Black Satellites of Ghana rounded off Group B as second to Mali after their 1-0 loss to Mali on Sunday evening.
Mali qualified as winner of Group B and they will trade tackles with the runner up of Nigeria’s group, Senegal, the host nation.
The Flying Eagles of Nigeria led by Manu Garba had defeated Ghana 2-0 in a build-up to the tournament in the second leg of a friendly match that ended 2-2 in the first leg.
