The Good Health Centre, a group dedicated to giving relevant health information to people, in conjunction with a former pioneer chairman of the Nigeria Stock Exchange, Dr. Hayford Alile has kicked off a two-day health seminar for corporate leaders and Chief Executive Officers in Lagos.
The seminar, which holds at the Metropolitan Club, Victoria Island, Lagos, runs between Wednesday, December 3 and Thursday, December 4.
According to the organisers, the purpose of the seminar was to draw the attention of corporate organisations and leaders from all strata to the various health challenges facing them due to the nature and demands of their Jobs.
Dr. Alile in his opening remarks, said CEO’s and corporate leaders are subjected to too much stress which results to gradual development of various terminal illnesses.
He added that the purpose of the seminar was to draw peoples’ attention to these diseases.
Alile further said that since executives and leaders are the helms men in their various establishments, it was important to start off the sensitization campaign with them.
“Corporate leaders and CEO’s are better poised to take this campaign to their staff and subordinates,” he said.
