Babajide Sanwo-Olu, governor of Lagos state is out of isolation. That is official. A tweet by Gboyega Akosile, chief press secretary to the governor said Sanwo-Olu has tested negative for the virus and so is free of the ailment.
The governor had to go into isolation, at home though, after he was confirmed to have tested positive to Covid-19. Since then, there were concerns for the governor’s health, even after he was seen jogging.
But in an earlier message, Akin Abayomi, a professor and commissioner for health in the state had hinted that the governor was getting better and almost ready to “resume public activities”. The final signal that he needed from health personnel must have been given today before Akosile, who had earlier been treated for the virus sent out the message.
