The Permanent Mission of Nigeria to the United Nations, New York, US on Thursday, announced the death of Aloysius Ogwu, husband of Nigeria’s Permanent Representative to the UN, Professor Joyce Ogwu.
The late Ogwu who was a distinguished retired Chief Consultant Surgeon at the Military Hospital, Ikoyi, Lagos died on Monday, October 27, 2014in New York at the age of 77.
He is survived by his wife,five children, grandchildren, sisters and brothers.
Burial arrangements are to be announced later.
