TELL can authoritatively report that the Giesi Ruling House which has been announced as the rightful ruling house to produce the next Ooni , in Ile Ife, Osun State will officially receive a letter from the government tomorrow. The letter, which will traditionally request the Giesi royal house to produce candidate to fill the vacant stool, will according to sources be presented to the head of the ruling house by 12 noon tomorrow. “ When we get the letter tomorrow, we are going to start the interview on Thursday, and by Friday, I am sure our candidates will emerge.”, the source said. The shortlisted candidates will be handed over to the kingmakers who will then consult the Ifa oracle for final selection.
There are over 40 candidates in Giesi ruling house vying for the revered stool.
