All roads will lead to Ile Ife on Monday, November 30. It is the date that the Enitan Ogunwusi Ooni-elect who is still undergoing the mandatory traditional rites and initiation process at the Ilofi will be formally installed as the new Ooni of Ile Ife. When TELL contacted Adeyemi Aderibigbe, head of Giesi Ruling House, that has produced the new Ooni, to confirm the date, the nonagenarian replied in a text message “ Very true”. Preparation towards the historical coronation ceremony will be supervised by Senator Daisy Danjuma, chairperson, Coronation Committee and few others. Local and international dignitaries from all spheres of life will grace the much-awaited event.
Ogunwusi had gone into the seclusion since Thursday, October 19, for the 21-days exercise.
