Adamu Muazu, National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, on Monday, blamed the current fuel scarcity in the country on the opposition, All Progressives Congress, APC.
Reacting to the fuel scarcity in a tweeter message on Monday, Mu’azu said, “Concerned Nigerians have drawn our attention to the fact that some opposition leaders and vested interest are behind hoarding of fuel.
“Concerned Nigerians should also draw attention to plans by those who control the South-West DISCO (electricity distribution companies) to sabotage electricity in the zone,” Mu’azu said.
Although he didn’t mention the names of the opposition leaders he was referring to, Mu’azu alleged that the scarcity was constructed and designed to undermine the image of President Goodluck Jonathan in the forthcoming Presidential election.
“All plans to tarnish the image of government will fail like all other previous attempts. We want to assure concerned Nigerians, especially all of you here on social media, that we will reverse this trend soonest,” the PDP national chairman said.
