For Honourable Barrister Reginald Ukwuoma, Executive Chairman, Etche Local Government Area, ELGA, his passion for service including the doggedness and determination with which he has applied himself to the task of transforming the Council, has redefined governance. Asked what his major achievement is, he answered, “All my projects are all major achievements because they are people-oriented…our projects are for the needs of the people”. The administration uses Feedback Mechanism, NEEDS Assessment, Town Hall Engagement and Resolution Methods. As Barrister Ukwuoma succinctly puts it, “after executing the projects we get feedback to know their feeling about our administration.

Rotimi-Amaechi

With the help of His Excellency, Governor Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi of Rivers State, who Barrister Ukwuoma commended for having the interest of ELGA at heart, the administration has been able to transform ELGA and opened windows of opportunities for the citizens of Etche.
