Super Eagles coach, Stephen Keshi, has dropped Victor Moses, the team’s midfielder ahead of the crucial two-legged clash with Sudan in the ongoing African Cup of Nations qualifiers. He replaced him with Emem Eduok, Dolphins of Port Harcourt striker, after Moses was ruled out for three weeks over a thigh injury he sustained during a club duty last weekend.
Eduok, a former flying Eagles star striker, has scored 13 goals for Dolphins.
Meanwhile, ten players arrived at the Super Eagles Bolton White Apartment camp in Abuja on Monday afternoon to begin training ahead of the crucial encounter. Among the early arrivals are Omatsone Aluko, Hope Akpan, Babatunde Michael, Nosakhare Igiebor, and Aaron Samuel. Others are Gbolahan Salami, his team captain in Warri, Azubuike Egwuekwe, Emem Eduok, Chigozie Agbim and Ighodalo Osaguona.
Nigeria is currently third in the group with a point, behind Congo and South Africa who have six and four points respectively
