Jonathan visits Babangida

ibbAs part of moves to galvanise the support of some influential Nigerians for his re-election in 2015, President Goodluck Jonathan on Saturday paid a visit to Ibrahim Babangida, former Head of State in Minna, Niger State capital.

The duo met behind closed-door at Babangida’s hiltop mansion in Minna.

Speaking with reporters after the meeting, Babangida called on all Nigerians to support Jonathan because he would take the country to better heights.

Jonathan was accompanied on the visit by Ahmadu Ali, Director-General of his campaign team; Sambo Dasuki, National Security Adviser and Bala Mohammed, Minister for the Federal Capital Territory.
