The Joint Admission and Matriculation Board, JAMB, is planning to make its examination result s now valid for use by students for up to 2 years.
Dibu Ojerinde, JAMB Registrar disclosed that this would be possible if there was an aptitude test and that the JAMB board would use the Iris of the eye to verify candidates in the nearest future.
Ojerinde stated this in Abuja at the 11th seminar of the Independent Corrupt Practices and other related offences Commission, ICPC.
He also disclosed that the aptitude test would be different from achievement test. “Achievement test is what we are doing now. We have a syllabus,” he said.
He said that JAMB had secured up to 375 centres for the next UTME, adding that the federal government was planning to give the board 109 additional centres.
He also went on to note that last year, JAMB used 156 centres to conduct the UTME, but this year, it’s different and the centres are completely CBT.Follow Us on Social Media
