Monday, October 6 and Tuesday 7, have been declared as public holidays by the Federal Government to celebrate the Eid-el-Kabir festivities. This was announced by Abba Moro, Minister of Interior, on behalf of the government.
Moro, in a statement signed by the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Interior, Magaji Abubakar, congratulated Muslims and implored them to join hands with President Goodluck Jonathan in his efforts at building a peaceful, united and virile nation.
