Buhari Expected Back Today

President Muhammadu Buhari is expected back in Nigeria anytime from now. The president, who had been away in London, since May 7, for medical reasons, is said to be set for a return and would address the nation on Monday, August 21. This was revealed this morning by Femi Adesina, his media spokesman. He added that President Buhari ” thanks, all Nigerians who have prayed ceaselessly for his recovery and well-being since the beginning of the health challenge.”

The president’s expected return comes days after a protest organised by some Nigerians in Abuja calling for him to return or resign, turned bloody, as some others against the protest clashed with them.
