Somalia-based terrorist group, Al Shabaab, has threatened to carry out attacks on malls in the United States, United Kingdom and Canada.
Al Shabaab made the threat in a video, which was released this last weekend.
The group, which made a reference to the deadly 2013 attack of the Westgate Mall in Nairobi, Kenya that left 60 people dead, said the impending attacks would be similar to that deadly one.
Al Shabaab specifically listed Minnesota’s Mall of America and the West Edmonton Mall in Alberta, Canada.
