Agbaje Wants INEC To Repeat PVC Exercise In Lagos

Jimi Agbaje, PDP governorship candidate in Lagos State, on Saturday urged the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC to repeat the Permanent Voters Card, PVC registration exercise in Lagos.

Agbaje made the appeal at an endorsement rally put together by Goodluck Ebele Jonathan Support Group to canvass for President Jonathan and Agbaje at the 2015 polls.

It will be recalled that several complaints have marred the PVC distribution and registration of fresh voters exercise organised by INEC in Lagos.

While condemning the development, Agbaje urged INEC to act swiftly to ensure that all the issues are addressed.

“There are still so many people in Lagos that may be disenfranchised from the process. Lagos is not like other states; the population makes it different. The disappointment of most of the voters in obtaining the PVC may put them off and discourage them from participating in the 2015 polls,” Agbaje said.
