Hillary Obomighe, Managing Director of ETX-NG, has disclosed that the University of Benin and the Babcock University, has recently joined other tertiary institutions that offer electronic academic transcripts.
He said that the company offers the device and platform that enables electronic academic transcripts, while enlightening stakeholders in Lagos.
He said with the device, linked schools could send and receive transcripts from their counterparts from across the world in a safe manner. “ETX-NG is Africa’s first and leading electronic transcript exchange today. Globally, there is a gigantic transformation from paper to electronic. Currently, we are getting close to signing on over 10 per cent of the tertiary institutions in Nigeria,” he stated.
With the inclusion of UNIBEN and Babcock University to the Electronic Transcript Exchange, the number of institutions in Nigeria on the EXT-NG platform has been raised to 23.
