Data collected from the black box of the TransAsia Airlines turboprop plane that crashed on Wednesday, February 4, revealed that both engines of the plane suddenly lost power before the crash.
Taiwan’s Aviation Safety Council told journalists that the engines failed to produce enough thrust for two minutes after take-off.
The plane had 58 passengers and crew on board. At least 35 of the people on board have been confirmed dead.
Flight GE235, which was headed for Taiwan’s Kinmen Island crashed into the Keelong River after hitting a bridge.
