The Lagos state police command, in its efforts to get rid of the Badoo gang, a notorious ritual sect, terrorising the Ikorodu area of Lagos and its environs, the state police command on Monday, July 31 uncovered the group’s shrine. [powr-banner-slider id=f615b390_1500277847679]Reports reveal that while acting on a tip off, the policemen stormed the shrine, located on the outskirts of Ikorodu town, but it was not certain if any arrest was also made.

was spotted on a corner in the compound.
The police team was led by the Deputy Commissioner of Police in charge of Operations, DCP Edgal Imohimi, with backing from the Inspector General of Police Special Tactical Squad (STS). Inside the shrine were big-horned figurines and ash-colored

Also found at the shrine were baskets, broken eggs and left over of sacrifice as well as metal gongs, which was probably used to wake up the numerous deities placed in the room.[powr-button id=c898e60f_1500116941462]
