A timely intervention of the Lagos State Fire Service has saved the popular Ladipo Spareparts Market, Mushin area of Lagos from being razed by fire on Sunday. Mrs. Margaret Adeseye, director of the state fire service, said men of the service responded to a distress call about 7:31 am on Sunday.
The fire reportedly started at a building around Rowland street, Olateju area of Mushin. She said the effort “saved multi-million naira worth of commercial buildings and property” that would have been destroyed by the fire.
However, the cause of the incident was yet unknown as at the time of filling this report.
