The Ogun State government on Thursday, December 11, launched a book chronicling the achievements of Ibikunle Amosun, the state governor in the last three years.
The book, titled ‘Ogun State: The Golden Years,’ was launched and publicly presented at the DLK Events Centre, Abiola way, Abeokuta, Ogun State.
The book, which was put together by Soyombo Opeyemi, special assistant on media to the Ogun State governor, was reviewed by Femi Adesina, President, Nigerian Guild of Editors.
Describing the book and by extension, Amosun’s administration, as “worth its weight in gold,” Adesina said the 200 hundred page book details the hard work and dedication of the administration in every sector of the state.
The chairman of the book launch and presentation, Olaokun Soyinka, Ogun State Commissioner for Health who represented Gen. Mmuhammadu Buhari, former head of state at the event said the book depicts the vision Amosun had for the state, and the steps he took to actualize them in just three years.
