Clems Onyeka, a Nollywood actor was killed in Asaba, Delta State on Tuesday October 14.
He died after he was hit by stray bullets in the course of a cross fire between policemen and some armed robbers who had attacked a bullion van.
Some policemen were also said to have been critically injured in the incident, which sent motorists and pedestrians along the DBS road and Summit road scampering to safety.
Celestina Kalu, Delta State Police Public Relations Officer, said the driver of the bullion van managed to drive off leaving the police escorts behind to battle the armed robbers.
“One of the robbers dropped down as the shootout went on, but his colleagues were able to escape with him as the police fire became too hot for them,” Kalu said.
