Kwara APC Secretary-General Dies

Yemi Afolayan, the General-Secretary of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in Kwara State is dead.

The news of his death was contained in a statement issued by Sulaiman Buhari, the party’s Publicity Secretary in the state.

“It is with heavy heart of grief and loss that we announce the death of our General- Secretary, Prince Yemi Afolayan. Prince Yemi Afolayan passed on this morning after a brief illness. He will be remembered for his unflinching loyalty to APC, contributions to the development of Kwara State as a parliamentarian and his huge contributions to humanity and mankind,” Buhari said.

While stressing that Afolayan lived an impactful life, Buhari prayed for the repose of his soul.

“We empathize with his immediate family in this moment of grief and we urge them to find solace in the fact that Prince Yemi Afolayan lived an impactful life. We pray for the repose of his soul and we empathize with all APC members and the people of Kwara State,” he added.
