Jonathan Swears in Eight New Ministers, Assigns Portfolios

President Goodluck Jonathan, on Wednesday, administered oaths of office on Musiliu Obanikoro and seven others who were recently confirmed as ministers by the Senate.

At the Federal Executive Council, FEC, meeting held in Abuja, the President assigned portfolios to Kenneth Kobani as minister of State, Industry, Trade and Investment; Patricia Akwashiki as minister of Information; Musiliu Obanikoro, Minister of State,

Foreign Affairs II and Nicholas Ada as minister of State, Foreign Affairs I.

Others are Augustine Akobundu as minister for State, Defence; Fidelis Nwankwo, Minister of State, Health; Hauwa Bappa, minister of State, Niger Delta Affairs and Joel Ikenya as minister of Labour and Productivity
