The governorship election in Edo state was concluded Wednesday generally without crisis. Officials say that results are being collated as they come in from the local government areas.
The election originally scheduled to hold last September 10, was shifted to Wednesday, September 28, following the insistence of the security forces that they could not guarantee that the exercise would not be disrupted by the activities of some militants they claimed were in the trenches with plans to perpetrate crisis.
