Since gunmen attacked the offices of French satirical magazine, Charlie Hebdo, which claimed 12 lives and left 11 injured on Wednesday, several muslim worship places in the country have been attacked.
According to French officials, Mosques in two French towns were fired upon overnight with no casualties recorded.
Three blank grenades were thrown at a mosque in the city of Le Mans, West of Paris, and shots were fired in the direction of a muslim prayer hall shortly after evening prayers in the Port-la-Nouvelle district.
There was also an explosion at a Kebab shop near a mosque in the eastern French town of Villefranche-sur-saone with no casualty on Thursday morning.
