Kayode Fayemi, Governor of Ekiti State has been decorated as best Governor of the year-2013 by Champions Newspaper Limited.
The event was held in Lagos on April 11.
Among those who were also awarded the prestigious awards is Peter Obi, immediate past Governor of Anambra State who
received award as the Igbo Man of the decade.
Those present at the award dinner include Aminu Tambuwal, Speaker, House of Representatives; Babatunde Fashola, Lagos State
governor; Rauf Aregbesola, Osun State governor and Odochi Orji Wife of the Abia State governor among others
Fayemi was also honoured as Governor of the year 2013 by Leadership newspaper last year.
Receiving the award, the Governor described the recognition as a rare award per excellence. And promised to be more responsible to his electorates.
