David Butler, chief executive officer, explained that Chicken Republic recently gave its outlets a facelift to create a dominant brand in the Nigerian quick service restaurant sector and is also expanding its territories to reach more lovers of its West African spiced chicken.
Butler stated that the industry is extremely dynamic and fast-paced with huge potentials. According to him, the aggressive expansion strategy of the company, which was established in 2004, is designed to leverage the massive potentials and will be achieved through opening a combination of company and franchise stores across Western Africa.
The Chicken Republic boss assured that the company would delight consumers across the West Africa region with newly remodelled, world-class restaurants and various new concept stores before the end of the year. He says: “The new stores will offer drive through and express outlets. We will triple our existing outlets in the next four years to expand customer base with its legendary West African spiced meals.”
