As at 9.20am, Polling unit 019, Femi Okunnu/Lateef Jakande, Ikoyi 2, under Eti Osa LG, where APC governorship candidate, Jide Sanwoolu, is to cast his vote, was still not ready.
One of the two card readers is not functioning properly. So, the INEC officials have called their office for a replacement. So the over 500 registered voters there have to wait for the officials.

INEC should get themselves better prepared next time. The card reader issue should have been sorted ahead of time.

Voting commenced around 9.45am.

Voters’ turn out at Sanwoolu’s polling unit quite low…nothing up to the number of registered voters.
The number of media men here should be more than double that of the voters. Babajide Sanwoolu is the candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC. His major opponent is Jimi Agabaje, the candidate of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP.
