Buhari in Lagos to Launch Rail and Maritime Projects
by Adekunbi EroPresident Muhammadu Buhari is visiting Lagos State today to launch two major projects executed by his administration. One of them is the Mobolaji Johnson Railway Station at Ebute Meta area of the state. The station, said to be the “largest in West Africa with a holding capacity of 6,000 passengers” was named in honour of a former military governor of the state, late General Mobolaji Johnson.
In preparation for that exercise, the problematic Apapa gridlock has been cleared, and military men have been deployed to the area and the route to Apapa for adequate security.
