Jimi Agbaje, governorship candidate of the People’s Democractic Party in Lagos State has said that a bomb was found behind the Marian Grotto at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Apapa, on Wednesday afternoon.
Agbaje who is a member of the church, alleged that the bomb, which was found by the security personnel of the church, was to be detonated during the station of the cross service that holds every Wednesday during the Lenten period.
He disclosed that the anti-bomb squad arm of the Nigerian Police Force has been alerted about the development.
