20 Students Benefit From Gani Fawehinmi Scholarship Awards


20 students have emerged successful in the 2018 Gani Fawehinmi Scholarship Awards. The awardees are:

Dipo Fashina, chairman of the scholarship scheme said the award is not limited to students in Lagos but also applicants from different parts of Nigeria by having a centre each for every region in Nigeria.

“We are assisted by the Academic Staff Union of Universities, ASUU in bringing out list of the poor but outstanding students.

“The scholarship award however, is being sustained by the late Chief Gani Fawehinmi’s Will, the money he left behind and support from ASUU which makes its future guaranteed.

“We are also planning to increase the number students receiving the scholarship award to 40, in order to enable most of the outstanding ones to be partakers,” Fashina said.
