Chicago witnessed a shocking tragedy on August 13, 2025, when Kevin Watson, a 42-year-old man also known as “Tugg,” was fatally shot while live-streaming on Facebook.

Watson was broadcasting from the Austin neighborhood, near the 5000 block of West Madison Street, when an assailant attempted to snatch his chain. The confrontation quickly escalated into a struggle, during which Watson was shot in the chest.

He was rushed to a nearby hospital but later pronounced dead. The harrowing incident, captured live, has since circulated widely online, sparking outrage and raising renewed concerns over violent crime in Chicago.
