Tinubu Says She Won’t Pay for Votes; Mrs. Oluremi Tinubu, Senator representing Lagos Central, was unspairing of the crowd that thronged both her house and the polling unit where she voted today. She told them to go to their polling units to perform their civic duty instead of milling round her for money. I won’t give you money, she insisted.
“We don’t buy votes here”.

Tinubu Scores INEC; Mrs. Oluremi Tinubu was full of praise for INEC’s performance at the election going by her polling unit’s prompt commencement of the elections. However, she mentioned that the President deserves a lot of the praises for ensuring that the lapses of the previous elections have been taken care of.
She was of the firm belief that her party would win today’s election. “We’re firmly on course”, she stated.
She also responded to the last [presidential] election thus: “the people have spoken”.

Tinubu’s Compassion: Mrs. Oluremi Tinubu showed a pleasant aspect of her when she engaged a deformed person who came for help. She sat with him, listened to his story and asked her aides to handle his situation.

Tinubu Berates Igbo in Lagos; At the polling unit, Oluremi Tinubu, senator and wife of the national leader of All Progressives Congress, APC showed that she was not comfortable with certain recent happenings within the political atmosphere in Lagos. She was shooting from the hips as she cast aspersion on the Igbos who she said were trying to flex muscles with the owners of the land in Lagos, and voted against their party.
She joked with some corps members, who were staff of INEC, asking them to learn Yoruba for them to be accepted in Lagos.
