Voting has begun in Akure and in most polling centres in Ondo State. Olusegun Agbaje, resident electoral commissioner expressed satisfaction in the conduct of the exercise. Although there have been complains about the card reader. But Agbaje said something is been done about it. Akure is largely calm. Voters turn out in Akure has been encouraging.
Eyitayo Jegede PDP candidate join the queue over an hour ago and he has since been in the sun despite plea to vote and leave. Turn out in Ondo are reportedly huge and there is same situation in Owo.
Eyitayo Jegede, PDP candidate in the ongoing guber election holding in Ondo State, has urged INEC to allow every legitimate voters regardless of the length of the queue. He said this while casting his vote at 10:48 am in ward 02, unit 9 located at sacred Heart Primary School, Akure South. Voting has continued smoothly in the whole of Akure and Ondo. The security men remains on the alert.
