Nyanya blast Mastermind Arrives Abuja

Three months after, Aminu Sadiq Ogwuche, alleged co-mastermind of the April 14 Nyanya Motor Park bombing in which scores of people died and hundreds wounded, was repatriated to Nigeria today.

Ogwuche was handed over to the Interpol Unit of the Nigeria Police Force by the Sudanese authorities on Tuesday after he was flown into the country by the Nigerian Airforce.

The suspect was arrested in Sudan following an internationalnotice issued for his arrest by the Nigeria National Bureau of the Interpol.

Mohammed Abubakar, Inspector General of Police, in a reaction commended the officers of the unit for a job well done, noting that the successful repatriation of the terror fugitive to Nigeria shows that the global coalition against terrorism championed by Nigeria is beginning to yielddesired result.
