NBA Remembers Gani Fawehinmi

The 11th Chief Gani Fawehinmi Annual Lecture/symposium which also doubles as Fawehinmism and the 2nd Nigeria Bar Association, NBA Ikeja Gani Fawehinmi Integrity Award, holds today at the Oranmiyan Hall, Airport Hotel, Lagos.

In a mass array of deep coloured suits, lawyers from all around Nigeria have gathered to celebrate the iconic legal practitioner, Late Chief Gani Fawehinmi.

The event which has just commenced has Cardinal Olubunmi Okogie, as the chairman of the occasion, Yinka Farombi, the chairman of the Nigerian Bar Association Ikeja, Dr Muiz Banire, Femi Falana, SAN and many other dignitaries.

They are all set to focus on the lecture of the day with the theme, Ethnicity, Religion, Illiteracy: Promises and Illusions of Democracy in the Struggle to uplift the Masses from Impoverishment.
