Voting commenced early in most of the polling stations in Osogbo, the state capital. The turnout of voters was large and the process was peaceful and orderly with the aged, men and women maintaining orderly conduct at the polling centres visited.               At Are Ago Unit 8, Ward 8 Owode Village, the queue was long because the response time of the card reader was slow and the old people who could not stand in the hot sun for long were allowed to vote first. Also, a young lady was sighted writing down names of voters with the intent of buying their votes. She ran away when Tell reporter call the attention of security men and election observers to her activities.                       Jimoh Taofik, a voter, told Tell that he arrived the voting unit before 8am and could not vote at his voting unit at Araromi Kajola Unit 6, Oke Bode in Atakumosa West LG. On enquiry from Oyetunji Oluwatobi, the presiding officer, the card reader was slow and unable to capture a lot of voters. He, however, said over 200 voters were able to vote by 11.20am.
