Ayodele Fayose, Ekiti State governor, in his inaugural speech, said the hand of God is behind his reelection. Having welcomed five defectors from the APC, who were also welcomed to the PDP by Adamu Muazu, PDP national chairman, the governor said he has come to serve the people.
He said the state will witness peace and progress during his tenure. He also said he left over N10b in 2006 alongside other infrastructure.
On return, he said the state owes a debt of N57b. Stressing that the masses will suffer the effect of such debt. He however encouraged Ekiti residents to work with him to lift the state from the dungeon of debt.
