All permanent secretaries brought in from outside the Edo State civil/public service by the immediate past governor of the state, Godwin Obaseki, and all political appointees, have been sacked by the governor, Senator Monday Okpebholo.
A statement on Wednesday by the chief press secretary to the governor, Fred Itua, said the governor has also dissolved all Boards, Agencies and Parastatals in the state public service, while.
“Accordingly, all affected appointees are to hand over all government properties in their possession to the most senior Public Officer in their respective Ministries, Departments and Agencies”, the statement directed.
