The 2015 edition of the annual international music festival, Felabration came to an end weekend. Named after the legendary creator of
afrobeat, Fela Anikulapo Kuti, the weeklong event, which held at the Afrika Shrine, as usual, attracted people from far and wide. All through the event which kicked off on Monday, October 12 and came to a close October 18, music, comedy and dramatic performances were never in short supply. Just as many established musicians from home and abroad took turns at the podium to entertain the crowd, young talents in the field of entertainment saw it as an opportunity to showcase their talent Among those who performed at the highly explosive event were Iroko, Jaywon, Klever Jay, Timaya, Joe El, Magic Boy, MI, Wande Coal and Wizkid. Others were Olamide, SeleBobo,
Iyanya, Olu Maintain, Burna Boy and Femi Kuti, owner of Afrika Shrine and first son of Fela, who died in 1997.
