Dimgba Igwe for burial October 11

Funeral rites for the late Dimgba Igwe, Vice Chairman of The Sun Publishing Limited, will commence on October 4, 2014, with a Service of Songs in Lagos.

Interment holds at his Okafia Igbere, Abia State hometown on October 11, after a funeral service.

Hanson Igwe, elder brother of the deceased, said service of songs comes up at Evangel Pentecostal Church, 3–9, Chidi Okafor Street, Off Canal Avenue, Okota, Lagos, by 3p.m. on October 4.

On Saturday, October 11, funeral service holds at Okafia Igbere Primary School, in Bende Local Government Area of Abia State.  The program starts at 10a.m, followed by interment at the home of the deceased, also in Igbere.

A hit-and-run driver knocked down Igwe, on September 6, as he jogged around his Okota, Lagos, neighborhood.

He is survived by his wife, Obioma, and four children.
