Cherubim & Seraphim Leader Finally Laid to Rest

The remains of Gabriel Fakeye, leader and chairman of Cherubim And Seraphim Movement Church,Surulere district headquarters, Lagos has finally been laid to rest at his home in Imesi Ile,Obokun LGA,Osun State.

Traditional rulers, clerics from other denominations across the country, members of the C&S Church, and representatives of southwest governors, all of who took turn to eulogise him, attended the burial.

In his fiery exhortation, T.J Odedele, a special apostle urged members of the church to learn from the lifestyle of the departed Ayo Ni O leader. “He never cared about position. Those of us who are always ready to go to any length because of position and money. You better repent now. Fakeye is facing his own judgement. How will your own be?” Citing the book of Job 14 :16-18, Odedele stressed that, “We brought nothing to this world and we will go with nothing.”

Some of the church members who spoke with the magazine said it will be difficult to get a perfect replacement for Fakeye.

Fakeye, a professional engineer died on January 11, 2015 at the age of 78.
