The British Council has assured students seeking to study in the United Kingdom, UK, that the 12th annual education UK Exhibition would provide unique opportunity for participants.
Sephora Imomoh, project manager at the British Council, explained that the event, which will take place in Lagos and Abuja on November 8th and 11th, 2014 respectively, would provide students at all levels the opportunity to meet one on one with representatives of over 50 UK universities, colleges and schools.
The event would provide the students direct advice on the opportunities available to them to study in the UK. She stated that the UK is irresistible for international students, adding, “With a strong reputation for research, innovation and creativity, UK universities and colleges attract some of the world’s leading academics and industry professionals. Students are encouraged to express their own ideas and think for themselves.”
Imomoh noted that the UK education system has evolved to meet the challenges of this age as it is built on a tradition of innovation; a constant process of evolution that challenges convention and encourages independently minded people to learn not just what to think but how to think. “The opportunities are wide ranging and our exhibition provides a platform for every student to find a program of study that is tailored to their specific aptitudes and will help them begin their journey to a great future,” she said
