The Delta State Government has vowed that those responsible for the vandalistion of the NNPCL/Chevron Oil facility – the Dibi Abiteye Flow Station in Warri North Local Government Area of the state on Saturday, November 23, 2024 would be fished out and brought to book through the collaborative efforts of governments at all levels, security agencies, and Tantita Security Services.

In a statement on Monday, the secretary to the state government, Dr. Kingsley Emu, said the state government received “the sad news of an act of economic sabotage” at the flow station and warned that the government would “not hesitate to deal decisively with anyone or group of persons/criminals who are out to sabotage government’s resolve to sustain the current tempo of oil exploration in the state.”

Dr. Emu said, “Government reassures Chevron Nigeria Limited and other oil operating companies of our continuous support and commitment to their successful operations in Delta State. We also solicit the support of host communities in identifying and clamping down on the offenders”.
