All is now set for Nigeria’s foremost beauty pageant, as 18 finalists have been unveiled for the highly coveted title of Miss Nigeria 2018.
Following recently concluded auditions in Lagos, Owerri and Abuja, the Miss Nigeria Organisation selected the finalists after various screening processes from 40 contestants that were initially selected from the auditions.
Chioma Nwigwe, Project Coordinator of Miss Nigeria 2018, said the 18 finalists for this year’s contest went through a grueling process that has been very rewarding. She added that “beyond their looks, every single one of these incredible ladies brings something unique to the table and we can’t wait to see which of them wins the crown.”
During an interactive session with guests at the unveiling ceremony, the 18 finalists shared their visions, aspirations and plans if they won the title. Some of the guests expressed satisfaction with the finalists, describing them as articulate about their mission. They also pledged their support for the organizers for empowering women through the contest.
The grand finale of the beauty contest will hold at the Eko Convention Centre of the Eko Hotels and Suites on November 25, 2018.
